Welcome to la Piedra del Peñol!

Your tour of Guatapé start early towards the famous town of the Zocalos where on your way you will get a traditional breakfast in one of the nice local restaurant. Then passing through the town of el Peñol we will stop at the famous replica of the old town square admiring the colonial style of its architecture while enjoying a majestic view of the dam that you will get to cruise in a 40 minutes ride on a comfortable speedboat witnessing the amazing landscape of these emerging islands and looking at the properties of the area.

Now comes the time to climb at your own pace this humongous batholith rock of 740 steps called la piedra del Peñol where you will be rewarded with a breathtaking  360 degree view of the surrounding landscapes. Thereafter we will visit the town of Guatapé itself after a delicious typical lunch where you and our  guide will walk through the iconic Umbrella’s street, the zocalos square and its main park that you will get to explore on your own and also to buy some souvenirs.
